Beginning My Life as a New Me

The Personal Values course has been life-changing for me. During this course, I worked on my weakest points and confronted the harmful actions I had done in my life in the past.

Confronting my past was a truly amazing experience for me. I came to a point where I was able to finally let go of all the unnecessary memories that I had. Day-by-day my awareness increased dramatically. Now, I can see the points in my life where I crashed and I understand how my life got to that point. I am able to see how I came to be living a life of addiction. During the course, I was going back and forth, remembering things from my past and living in the present, and as a result, my emotional tone was constantly changing.

But then I reached a point where I was no longer getting affected by situations from my past the way I used to be and I developed an increased responsibility for myself and my actions. Doing this has seriously affected all areas of my life in a positive way. Also, I have become more patient than I used to be and I’ve become a great listener. I am willing to accept any advice that’s given to me. For the first time, I can actually apply all that I’ve learned to my life.

I feel my survival is moving towards a higher level. I have made my family happy at last, and I have made myself become a better person at the same time. I know that there is so much more to learn, and I look forward to what’s ahead.

I know exactly what I want my life to be like. This is the beginning of my life as a new me.
