It’s Not About Feeling Better About Yourself—it’s About Becoming a Better Person

I have been analysing my closest friends and family. Up until now, I have not really looked at their characteristics, but now I’ve started analysing them. I have come to understand how a social person gets flashes of an anti-social behaviour. I now know that this is not just a change in mood for some people. Many of the friends that surrounded me before I came to Narconon affected my behaviour in a bad way.

Letting go of relationships that aren’t good for you is not about feeling better about myself—it’s about becoming a better person. Many times, people have all their attention on associates they don’t even like. The person that I was spending time with before was always criticising other people, plus he was passing on bad news, and speaking in broad generalities. I didn’t see that he was showing his anti-social characteristics.

His behaviour was affecting my mood sometimes, and because I wasn’t strong enough, my whole day was often ruined by a person I didn’t even like.

I’ve realised that people with anti-social characteristics completely changed my life—and made it worse. Thanks to this program I’m fully able to see anti-social and social personalities in the friends and family who surround me and I will do my best to stay true to my integrity.

This course changed my point of view and I’ve become a more reasonable person with a high level of confront.

From now on, I will create my life and I will be surrounded by social people who have my best interests in mind.
