It Was Just a Bad Dream

In 2004, when I took cocaine for the second time, I decided that this was the key to a happy future and that this drug would help me to be ‘myself.’

“I started using it every weekend to ‘enjoy’ the nightlife, but then I began to use it every day and soon I was losing contact with reality. I increased the dosage more and more so as to be able to confront my problems but they just got bigger and bigger.

“I lost any feeling of the happiness I once had and so I took yet more cocaine to try to recapture that feeling. This didn’t work and my life at that point was terrible.

“The police caught me with 10 grams of cocaine and I was sent to jail for 6 months. When I got out I simply resumed the same lifestyle. I lied, I cheated and I felt that I had completely lost my personality. My body was full of toxins and my mind was ‘closed’ because of the stimulants. That was the moment when I decided to change my lifestyle and save my life.

“I will always be thankful to my father for finding the place that changed my life—a place in Konopishte, North Macedonia called Narconon Balkan. This center, which uses the technology developed by L. Ron Hubbard, helped me to get back my personality—something I had been looking for all of my life.

“Thank you, Narconon Balkan for helping me to become a whole person again and for making my past seem like just a bad dream.
