The Importance of Maintaining Communication in the Family

From the course Overcoming Ups & Downs in Life, I have had amazing wins. I know now the reason why so many things happened in my life. I learned the two types of personalities and their characteristics. I am now able to recognize easily the people around me. I can compare my behavior before and after this course, and when I see that I have a bad behavior I am able to correct it immediately just by knowing about it.

While reading the course, I began to notice the characteristics and behaviors of the people around me in the present. I started to appreciate more the actions that are constructive. I changed my viewpoint towards some people and I saw that there is not only bad in these people. After finishing with the reading, I had more ideas about what can happen after the program and how I would apply the information.

I understand that I was a parasite in the past to all my surroundings, and now I see that it is not possible to continue like that. I have a new sense of responsibility. My communication is improved and I realized how important my family was and still is for me. I see that I can’t count on anyone except my family and that the friends that I used to had brought only troubles in my life.

My view towards my family members has changed. I saw in detail how much they did for me and what kind of people they are. Now that I know how to handle communication, I see how important it is to give acknowledgments for the good things. I felt like one gate opened and the level of communication increased with my family. I feel again more connected with them.

I know now what kind of people I need to avoid so that I don’t relapse again. I have already taken the first and the most difficult step by cutting the communication with some of the people from my past. Before, I would let people that I would meet get close to me, but from now on I will review the conduct of others well.
