From Lost to Present – My Real Transformation

The first day I entered the course room, I saw many students doing different things. Some of them looked easy to me—some made sense, and others seemed hard.
But when I started doing them myself, I realized they weren’t actually hard. It was just my mind perceiving them as difficult and pointless exercises. Once I did the first one, I immediately felt good. I learned how to truly be present—in the moment.
As I continued, I started feeling even better, especially when confronting people. In the past, I thought I was good at confronting, but in reality, I was just going through situations without really being present or aware.
“During the program, I learned how to communicate far better than I used to. I learned how to truly understand people...”
During the program, I learned how to communicate far better than I used to. I learned how to truly understand people—what they were saying, what they meant, and how to respond thoughtfully. I also learned how to give my full attention without hesitation or distraction—something I thought I already had, but in fact, I developed it fully here.
Honestly, I never imagined that all of these abilities and realizations could even exist in life. But thanks to this program, and to the Case Supervisor who gave me the opportunity to be here, and to all the staff who care deeply and stay focused on their job to help us succeed—I truly took the best of it.
I’m really grateful.
