Why we should take care of our Society?

After the harmful physical and mental effects of drug and alcohol addiction have been addressed, individuals on the Narconon program learn the skills they need to live life on life’s terms. These life skills are very often lost sight of during addiction, or they are skills that were never learned at all. Learning such life skills opens the window for the individual to review the past and make better decisions about the future. One graduate shares her realizations with us here:

I created a lot of problems for myself because I was not following the laws and the rules of my environment and society. In the end, because of repeating my pattern of destructive behavior throughout the years, I caused a lot of damage to myself. I created my own trap. I was stuck. I was not free. Once I was able to see this, I stumbled up the realization that the only way to change things is to first change yourself and the way you live. After that, you can truly see what is going on with others.

We should see first what is wrong within ourselves—not in someone else. To clear away all confusions in the mind and step by step to take action. Otherwise, we are not doing anything except living life by judging the other people in our lives and in society who are in fact, assisting with our own survival, each and every single day.

There are a lot of good people in society who are productive and are moving things forward. They are setting a good example for each one of us. Those people should be respected and treated well, not put down just because of a few situations where any one of us could have behaved wrong in that scenario.

Protect the good people and share love each day, give without thinking of taking something in return, only in that way, you will become a decent Man. If you respect the law and the rules and always work to bring others success, then a person is fully living. Only in that way, can we achieve survival and make the world better place to live happily.
