A Better Person

The Objective step of the Narconon program is designed to help individuals recover from past moments of stress and negative experience where their attention remains stuck and be able to be in the present and focus on the future. One of our students shares her story:

Today I will start with the Objectives and I am very glad to move to this step. The drills were a little intense but at the same time, they were an amazing and instructive experience. During this period I learned how to communicate and how to reach an understanding with other people around me. I learned how to truly understand the people around me, their reactions and originations and how to handle them.

“I learned how to work on my personality and how to improve it, how to challenge myself. I went through many things that were difficult for me and I learned how to be patient.”

During this period I worked with many people, and they were very different. I learned how to work with each one of them. During the drills, many things changed within me, physically and mentally. I have discovered a new person in myself. I discovered the different shades of my personality and new things about myself that I didn’t know until now. I learned how to work on my personality and how to improve it, how to challenge myself. I went through many things that were difficult for me and I learned how to be patient and how to try to understand others.

With these drills, I have given myself a chance to be a new person, and a good one because my mind is now open, free and ready to accept new things, new persons and new environments.

I can say that I have re-discovered myself. I am very happy to be here and every day I thank myself and my parents for this. I really thank all the staff of Narconon Balkan, for being there for me and for my family.

I want to especially thank all the students who helped me during the drills, they gave me their support and they shared their feelings with me. They taught me and I will never forget that. This is something I can’t re-pay, but I promise to do the same for other students, and I promise to be there for others that are in a need. A special thanks to the supervisors. Thanks to them I have become confident with who I am and I learned to never quit and never say to myself that I can’t. I can’t find the words to thank them, but I can show them in the future what a beautiful person and personality they allowed me to become.
